Remembrance Sunday took place at the Cenotaph on 14th November 2010, and the crowds turned out to watch the procession and ceremony as wreaths were laid at the War Memorial. Amongst those laying wreaths were Lord Lieutenant of Renfrewshire Guy Clark, Provost Celia Lawson, MPs’ Douglas Alexander and Jim Sheridan as well as Hugh Henry MSP, along with representatives from all the Armed Forces, past and present, as well as the Boys Brigade, Scouts, and Cadets. And a special service of Remembrance was also held in Paisley Abbey attended by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Renfrewshire James Wardrop.
