	Renfrewshire’s Doors Open Day was held over the weekend of 10th and 11th September. One of the highlights was the archaeological dig held at Abbey Close to try uncover some of the secrets of the medieval drain, and there was great excitement over the discovery of a circle of Stones uncovered in one of the trenches. 		The Paisley 10k Race and 3k Fun Run took place 28th August 2011. In ideal racing conditions over 1000 runners took part in the 10k race. Click here for more.

		Saturday, 20th August was Fire Engine Rally Day in Paisley and the sunny weather brought out the crowds to see engines old and new. Click here for more photos.

	It was Murray Hysteria down at Brodie Park Thursday, 6th July when Andy and the rest of the Davis Cup Team paid a visit to the old tennis courts before work begins to revamp them.

	The annual Sma’ Shot Day took place in brilliant sunshine on Saturday, 2nd July. Starting with a parade from Brodie Park to Abbey Close the day culminates in the burning of the Cork. Click here for more photos.




	The Paisley Pipe Championships took place on Saturday, 23rd July. Bands from throughout Renfrewshire and the rest of Scotland competed to be the best. Each band paraded down the High Street and Gilmour Street before judging took place in County Square.
