Renfrewshire Doors Open Day took place on the 6th and 7th of September 2014.
This is the once a year chance for the general public to see behind the locked doors of some of the finest buildings in Renfrewshire, and the sun shone which brought out the mums and dads and kids too, in record number.
New to Doors Open this year was Lang Tannery in Seedhill and Stow Brae Kirk in Causeyside Street. Also making a welcome return after an long absence was the Central Methodist Halls in Gauze Street.
The Atrium in the Anchor Mill also opened it’s doors to a new exhibition of tapestries. The Diaspora Tapestry brings together tapestry from around the world where Scots have settled in foreign parts.
The highlight of the weekend, however, must surely have been the official opening of the newly refurbished Grand Fountain in the Fountain Gardens.
See below for some photos from the weekend.
