With around 60 buildings opened to the public the race was on to visit as many as possible in the time available. Below are photos of The Old Parish Church of Renfrew - a wonderful Church in the heart of Renfrew which is embarking upon a period of restoration to save the fabric of the building and it’s two medieval tombs. Also in Renfrew, we have photos of the raising of the Bascule Bridge spanning the White Cart River and photos from Renfrew Fire Station. In Paisley there are photos from the New Jerusalem Church in George Street, Ash Tree House and of course photos of the Archaeological Digs in Abbey Close. Finally, there are photos of the Clyde Built Museum at Braehead which is due to close middle of October as the owners of the Braehead Complex requires their building back.
