The first commercial flight into Scotland, of the largest aircraft in the world - the Airbus A380, flew in to Glasgow Airport on 10th April 2014.
The special aircraft flight was to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first flight into the airport by Emirate Airlines on 10th April 2004. Since then the airline has carried over 2.5 million flyers to Dubai.
Around 3000 people took up vantage points around the airport to witness the historic event and they were not disappointed as the aircraft made a fly-pass over the airport before landing at 12.35pm precisely.
