Doors Open Day 2009 took place over the weekend of 12th and 13th September - and what a fantastic weekend for it with wall to wall sunshine, and the people of Renfrewshire and beyond came out in force to get their once a year opportunity to see behind some of the fascinating buildings that Paisley and Renfrewshire has to offer.

The statue on the left is that of Diogenes sculpted by Sandy Stoddart and housed in the Atrium of the John Neilson Institution.
