The Anchor Mill Bridge has finally re-opened after problems with the contractors were resolved which led to the opening being delayed by over a year, and pedestrians can now cross the bridge as many thousands of mill workers have done through the ages.

However, the delay has been well worth the wait as the bridge now looks ready to last another 100 years.
